Sorodha Internation Art Competition 2022는 전 세계 젊은 아티스트들의 재능을 발굴하고 사회적 예술 활동 참여를 응원하기 위해 2022년부터 시작되는 자유 청소년 미술 대회입니다. 본 대회는 벨기에 앤트워프 문화 재단 소르다 (Sorodha: Société Royale d‘harmonie) 와 아르떼 문화 예술 콘텐츠 연구소 (Arté : The Institution of Culture & Art Contents)가 주최하고 MySLide에서 주관을 맡고 있습니다. 해당 대회는 2022년 5월 24일 (화) 한국 시간 18:00시 (벨기에 시간 11:00시) 까지 열릴 예정이며 주최 측과 주관 측에서 평가 위원들을 선발, 제출된 작품들을 면밀히 검토하여 투명하고 공정하게 평가를 치를 예정입니다.
본 대회를 통해 더 많은 젊은 아티스트들이 틀에 구애받지 않고 자유로운 생각, 표현, 느낌을 지향하고 이를 사회적 예술 활동을 통해 다른 이들과 공유하고 공감받는 커뮤니케이션을 궁극적인 목표로 삼고 있습니다. 따라서 모든 수상작들은 벨기에 소르다 : 앤트워프 문화 재단 에서 운영하고 있는 벨기에의 Love 2 Arts 갤러리에서 전시가 될 예정이며, 해당 기간 동안 본 공간을 찾는 많은 사람들에게 공개됩니다. 또한, 수상자들의 동의하에 당선작 판매 활동도 진행되며, 수익금의 일부는 의미 있게 사용하기 위해 유니세프에 기부금으로 전달될 예정입니다.
수상작들이 전시될 Love 2 Arts 갤러리는 유럽 중심의 벨기에 안트베르펜 (앤트워프)에 2006년 개관한 갤러리입니다. 안트베르펜은 유럽 제2의 항구 도시로, 건축, 패션, 예술이 아주 활성화된 예술적 도시의 특성을 지닌 아름다운 도시로 손꼽힙니다. Love 2 Arts 갤러리는 벨기에, 네덜란드, 독일, 프랑스, 이탈리아, 스페인, 남아프리카, 콩고 등의 여러 유럽 작가들은 물론 일본, 중국, 한국 등 아시아권의 작가들을 포함하여 예술 및 문화 활동 방면에 다양한 전시회를 기획하고 운영되는 갤러리입니다. 또한 Love 2 Arts 갤러리는 1814년 설립된 벨기에에서 가장 긴 역사를 지닌 비영리 문화 재단 ‘소시에떼 로열 하모니(Société Royale d‘harmonie)’와 2006년 자매결연을 하고 젊은 인재 양성과 창의적인 국제적 프로젝트를 진행하고 있습니다.
이번 개최되는 Sorodha International Art Competition 2022 도 많은 국제적 프로젝트의 한 일환으로써, 아르떼 문화 예술 콘텐츠 연구소와 MySLide 가 협력하여 더 많은 젊은 작가들을 세계 무대로 발돋움할 수 있도록 발굴하고, 더 많은 국제적 관심을 비롯하여 다양한 예술 활동 참여에 이바지하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있습니다.

Youth Fine Art Competition 2022
Youth Fine Art Competition은 2022년 초 부터 시작된 MySLide 주최, 주관 청소년 자유 미술 대회로서, 미술계 진학을 원하는 청소년들에게 스스로 작품을 만들고 이를 전문가의 시선으로 평가, 피드백 받을 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것을 목표로 시작되었습니다.
따라서 본 대회는 최대한 자유롭고 다양성 있는 작품을 접수 받는 것을 지향하고 있어 특정 주제를 지정하거나, 제작 방식의 제한을 두고 있지 않습니다. MySLide 에서 선정한 다양한 방면의 작가님들과 협업하여 평가팀을 이뤄 접수 받은 작품들을 면밀히 확인할 것이며, 해당 작품에서 읽을 수 있는 앞으로의 발전 가능성에 방점을 두고 평가가 이루어질 예정입니다.
